“Restaurant food was good but the service was poor. The pricing of the food is bizarre too and I believe we were double charged for our food. The waiter could not adequately explain the pricing and I think we were charged double because we shared appetizers and mains (I think they charged per person even if you shared plates). The rooms are pretty dated too including a stained chair in the room.”

“The Inn is easy to find with ample parking. My concerns centred on strong, damp like smelly in my room. Curtains that couldn't be closed properly. With the main door not being locked at night, security was very poor. I was woken by a disturbance outside my door during the night it was very unsettling. All these issues might have been easier to raise with staff had they been approachable. It took the duration of the trip for the person at reception to smile and be friendly. Would definitely not...

“The hotel has no staff, the sister hotel down the road has two well meaning but incapable staff members. The rooms have no climate control, no water in any bathroom in the building. And some rooms have no power. The line for refunds extended out of the office. I was lucky I was able to find another place to stay. If it was advertised as no power, no water property I could see maybe paying a few pounds to stay here. It seems to me like the property owner is charging as much as they can without...

“Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again...

“Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. Breakfast was great with outlook over country side.”
