“The property itself is stunning,its oldy meets new loved it so beautiful,staff are amazing,especially the young girl who took our dinner order,she was so polite and lovely,I didn't get her name. Morning breakfast full breaky not a fan,should have stuck to the scrambled egg which hubby had and really enjoyed,the young lad Josh was so nice very friendly and funny.😁would definitely recommend this beautiful castle(hotel)to anyone whose thinking of booking.”

“The staff were friendly. The hotel was absolutely bare bones, not even a picture on the wall. It felt like a cell. It was loud in the reception and with cigarette and weed smoke all around the entrance door from the people congregating there.”

“Have biked for a day, nothing better than a cup of tea and a hot shower. There was no kettle until one was produced after an hour and the shower remained cold during all our stay! We also looked forward to a nice evening meal but owing to a large golfing party present it apparently was impossible to find a table for 2 and the nearest hotel / restaurant was closed due to a function. This necessitated a long walk to find an evening meal!”

“Clean and comfortable room with useful amenities like in-room electric kettle and hair dryer. The Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff were consistently polite and accommodating. The young lady who checked us in was personable and exceptionally helpful, particularly in attempting to resolve problems connecting our phones, iPads and laptop to the hotel's WiFi. Clearly though, there was something wrong with the hotel's WiFi hub(s) as we have not experienced difficulty at any of the 6 other...

“Convenient location. Our room was clean and comfortable and on the ground floor which was appreciated. Parking onsite. The hotel had great food for dinner, we didn’t try the breakfast. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. There was no fridge in the room which would have been nice as we were travelling and had food with us.”
