“IL Mare is the private section for all the beach bungalows. The rest of the resort is not allowed over there. It has 24 hour butler service. It was the most amazing trip we’ve taken. “We just completed our stay. Things we liked was the proximity to Willemstead. The room was nicely decorated with the old school shutters. Some did not close as the latches were broken. We placed towels and face clothes between the glass and the shutters to jam them closed for privacy. Things we didn’t like. The rooms were definitely not sound proof. “The room was cleaned every day. The staff were really polite and helpful. The rooms were never stocked with bottles of water on inquiry they said they drink the tap water. The area around the pool wasn’t cleaned daily. The gym didn’t have a lot of equipment just dumbbells and 1 working treadmill. The location of the hotel is ideal to get around the town. ”
