Blue Ridge, Virginia hotel rooms at the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"We were late for breakfast, not much left. Our fault. Nice selection would be available. AC was perfect and welcome. We arrived after midnight. Staff member met us at the door. Very friendly. Huge developments in Hotel area. Parking area not clearly defined. Another Hyatt a block away."

"Somehow we were booked in a handicap room. Bathroom was very institutional and pillows were flat and no cushioning. We had stayed in a different room the week before and that was fine. But this one was not worth the high price.Also some kind of stain on the comforter."

"Hotel is intended for business travelers. Rooms are clean with amenities. Didn’t use the pool, the hotel had several parties, weddings which left no parking for residents and we had to pay for parking!"

"The Hotel needs updating. I have stayed here multiple times in the last two years. The elevator is gross. The laundry room in A building had only one working washer and you need coins to operate (suggest upgrade to cc's). Walls and carpet throughout need to be replaced. Cleanliness is "ok" not great. My toilet backed up for no apparent reason and when I called the front desk I was told no one on premises to address but that I could come down and get a plunger:) which I did and addressed it myself. I will say there was one employee who worked the evening on May 16th to had to come to my room to fix my TV. And I appreciated that!"

"We were upgraded to a King Deluxe, which I think was just a mini-fridge addition (which did come in handy after all). Parking in the garage was easy. The room was generally clean, although our sheets had some holes in the them, but they were clean and fresh. The only downsides were how much trash was overflowing in the garage and random trash in the corners of the elevator and hallway, but that's a rude guest problem more than an oversight beacuse the mess was cleaned up in the elevator and hallway quickly. All-in-all it was a really comfortable place to stay overnight. Very quiet, too!"
