I arrived after the receptionist had left. They had left the key out for kitchen staff to check me in. I waa so relieved I still had a room. Thank you for making my day and your beds are fabulous. Quaint boutique historical property. Very clean with unique furniture. Reception staff efficient and friendly. don’t forget to ask for a bucket of ice. No fridge. Wrap around porch gives all season view of Main Street with excellent food and extensive drink menu. Two indoor restaurants and new bar to choose from all with caring staff. A peaceful oasis.

Loved the property. Restaurant and reception staff very helpful. Had dinner and breakfast at The Inn. Both meals were very good. Location is excellent. Only issue was the lack of air conditioning in our room. Advertised as having A/C but apparently not in every room. Since front desk staff gone at 5:00 there wasn’t any relief from the heat the first night. Housekeeping did give us a fan the next day but it was very loud. Will definitely return here but will be sure not to book a room that faces west.

We like the historic nature of this hotel but feel that it needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast in the dining room once. The food was fine, but the floor was dirty under tables and under the sideboard. It had been swept by the evening meal which was very good. The chairs in the dining room look as if they need to be refurbished. Our large room had a door to a balcony which we enjoyed each day. The bed was comfortable but we found the room too warm, even with a fan. The room also needs an additional chair placed in front of the TV as its placement makes watching from the couch very difficult. Suggest having hangers available. We enjoyed our stay but would have enjoyed it more with a few changes.
