“We had so much fun at this resort. The cabin was perfect and everything was clean and exactly what we expected. The outdoor table and set up was so nice to be able to watch kids play either at the park or the beach, and also just enjoy a morning coffee. We used the boats and kayaks and games room too. Only thing was you have to park at the main area and carry items to your cabin but it’s not far. Would definitely recommend to other families. We will be back!”

“This hotel is outdated in the best possible way— it feels like going to a rich relative's house in the 90s. Ornate and stylish, lots of character to the place. Tub also had jets, which was a great surprise. Room had a fireplace, but it was summer so they had the gas turned off. Water cooler in the lobby (very hot weather when we stayed, so this saved us), they pay for your parking in the King Street garage, room had a small window A/C unit but it got the job done very well. “The bathtub in our room tap was broken. You either had to have a burning hot water shower or a frigid cold which I did. My husband is a plumber and he couldn’t fix it for me, room 108. Don’t let anyone use the room until it’s fixed.”

“The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows.
