Stayed here in October, on our Leafpeeper tour. Great location for touring Boothbay area. Great ocean views! Updated room, comfy bed and outstanding breakfast! Only suggestion/complaint is outlets bedside for electronics.

Lovely ocean front stay

Nice stay & lovely ocean front views from rooms & the pool. Restaurant is excellent w/ daily happy hour from 4-5 and the room included a full breakfast buffet - which is amazing. Loved being able to access the ocean via the small beach & have kayaks for our use & evening fire pit by the beach. An older hotel but very peaceful spot & the rooms recently renovated

Location was very quaint and picturesque. Our room was very clean. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners at the restaurant. The food was delicious and staff was very accommodating. The only complaint was the shower water temperature took too long to become warm. We would definitely return to Smugglers again.

SMUGGLER'S COVE was a great place to stay. Wonderful, peaceful views of the ocean. Room was clean and bed comfy. Saltwater pool was heated and very clean. We had a tasty breakfast with lots of choices. Also had an excellent dinner at the restaurant with a fantastic view! Highly recommend!

Truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely little dining room for breakfast and enjoyed live music Tues evening with the best dinner on our trip. The burrata squash salad with crostini along with the best tika masala we’ve ever had were definite highlights. The property felt very family friendly and we enjoyed seeing lots of dog owners out and about. It was nice to be away from the tourism downtown yet close enough to take advantage of it and the Maine Coast Botanical Gardens which is a must see.

Great Staff and Comfortable

Great setting along Booth Bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet location yes convenient to town. The hotel is older but pretty well maintained. Very nice stay!

I loved having access to a private beach. The sunset views were amazing. We enjoyed the pool, fire pit, and playing Cornhole. There is pier and kayaks if interested in using. Also, having a great tasting free breakfast with an amazing view just added to the experience.

We had a delightful stay at Smuggler's Cove Inn. The family owners are lovely, friendly and very hardworking. Despite the first impression from the road, the buildings are very well maintained and beautifully situated to make the most of the property and view. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast is a feast! Dinner choices are varied with a bit of extra spice in some dishes...the gumbo was a treat! We wish the owners many more years of much success.

Recently updated so rooms were nice & clean. Beautiful view &, pool was overlooking the water. They had kayaks available for use. Continental Breakfast was delicious and we were able to sit out on the deck looking out at the cove . They even grow fresh herbs next to the restaurant. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax this is it! Only downside was bathroom was small & they hadn’t remodeled the shower yet. Will definitely be back.
