Great rooms, beautiful grounds, and a wonderful views. We did not want to leave. On premise restaurant was perfect, and the staff made us feel like family. Would definitely stay here again. It may not be the perfect place for everyone, depending on what you want your trip in the region to include, but it was perfect for me.

The food was superb, the room immaculate, and the staff courteous and attentive. Coffee at our door every morning. A hot water bottle delivered every night. A bird watching tour, by i call him the bird whisperer.the grounds are filled with flowers and hummingbirds.

The staff were friendly and polite, listened to our requests and offered help when needed, such as arranging transportation to and from the hotel, but communication between the staff was sometimes a problem. For example, there is an amenity offered by the hotel in which guests can request drink delivery every morning to their room, including type of drink and delivery time. Twice we did not receive drinks when we had requested them. We had to follow up to receive them. The grounds, tours and activities offered by the hotel are amazing, such as their coffee tour, and the meals offered in their restaurant were very good. Our room was okay, very basic in terms of comfort and amenities, but our bathroom had some issues, including a shower whose doors did not fully close, and a toilet that ‘shrieked’ when flushed. It was repaired twice while we were there, but the problem was not resolved. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay there, but better communication between the staff would help with services being provided in the best possible way.

Arriving at night during rainfall, it was difficult to find the reception. We eventually did, but the receptionist wasn’t there at the moment. Once we found her she was very kind and helpful. Food at the restaurant is wonderful. Couldn’t figure out how to operate the TV. As part of the location, it’s very naturally beautiful; however, the fog and rain made it more difficult to enjoy. We would be willing to try staying here (during dry season).

The property is beautifully located on a coffee farm. The rooms are nice and bright. The restaurant is beautiful with outdoor seating with views of the mountain tops. The weather is prefect and you do not need an air conditioner. The staff were wonderful especially Luis.

Best place in Panama. We drove from Panama City eight hours but worth it We loved the national park feel hiked the trails (even to the waterfall) had great food and the best coffee, Ask Roosevelt in the dining room how he got his name. Don’t miss this place
