"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "The location itself is fantastic, beautiful views, in the middle of mountains, relaxed and family friendly. The location is easy enough to get to, sat nav had no trouble finding it and the mighty fiat 500 rental made it no problem. This is a farm stay, dont expect the Hilton and power showers, however do expect donkeys, horses, cows, dogs, cats and the occasional scorpion (they aren't particularly dangerous apparently) The hosts Matteo and Francesca are very attentive and friendly. The prices are fair, the food and drink is all fresh and local and is very nice. The locals come and visit for food and drink in the evenings as well which should tell you all you need to know. The pool was clean and attended to by Matteo every morning and the garden is nice for relaxing. We used this as a base for exploring the Cinque Terre, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour avoiding the toll roads to get to most places. We want to go back, and as we like going to new and different places this is quite rare, so thank you for our stay."

"Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined. I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."

"We stayed in one of the canvas tents, which was wonderful and a great experience. The view from the accommodation is truly beautiful and the walk over to the restaurant and spa is very easy. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The view and experience staying in the canvas tent was the best part for us."
