“I was pleasantly suprised with how good the Singlecote hotel was. I wasn't expecting much given the cost of the room but it was fantastic value for money. The hotel and room was spotless and the complimentary continental breakfast was superb. There was so much fresh choice. If i am ever down from Scotland again, then i will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel and owners. ”

I was here longer than expected whilst house-hunting - I'm used to S/C apartments (hard to get in Boston unless paying well over odds) - but was very happy with the room I had (front right at top which has own WC). “The Eastleigh was an easy base for a few days away: two minutes from the pier and beach but tucked far enough up Scarbrough Avenue that you don’t hear arcade noise at night. We rolled in late morning, snagged an on-street space outside and never moved the car again. The room was spotless and practical—ceiling fan for stuffy evenings, mini-fridge with cold water and the check-in took seconds. The Wi-Fi was usable but a bit flaky, dropping in and out, so fine for quick checks but not much more....
