If you’re looking for a cosy, peaceful place with history, character and a warm atmosphere, 189 April Cottage is truly something special. When I first arrived, I was a little unsure because the road was quite narrow. Also, I would recommend searching “189 April Cottage” directly on Google Maps, as the first location that came up for me was somewhere else. But the moment I stepped inside this beautiful historic cottage, I realised how unique and special it was. The quietness, the history of the house, the beautiful atmosphere and the warm hospitality made the stay genuinely memorable. And the delicious breakfast was the perfect finishing touch. I would highly recommend 189 April Cottage to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful, charming and full of character. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s an experience.

Amazing stay

Amazing stay, the host was very welcoming, he even let us feed his amazing horses, our little one was super excited. The breakfast was delicious and the room clean and cosy! Such a beautiful place, we will definitely return.

The owner Steve was very accommodating, friendly and made us feel most welcome.The accommodation was clean, cosy and very peaceful. There was a good choice for breakfast and tasty.Would recomend to stay if wanting a quiet break.
