La Palma first trip

Location excellent for a long coastal walk into the centre of town. Area around hotel had good dining options

The room was old and shabby. The sofa dirty so we didn't want to sit on it The "kitchen" was not well equipped. The hotel officially has a 4 star rating, but the room looks like a cheap motel. The pools are nice. The reception was constantly understaffed - only 1 receptionist working. All in all, we are very disappointed with this hotel and will never go back there.

The location of the hotel was very good for access to local restaurants, the bus stop and a couple of shops including a small Spar and a Hyperdino (which is just a very small convenience store). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, but the mattresses on the twin beds were worn through (we could feel the metal of the springs), and the kitchen equipment was rather sparse compared with other similar hotel room kitchenettes (for example no spatula or suitable utensil for cooking in the frying pan, no grater or sieve or vegetable knife).

Las Olas is right next to the airport and close to the town and has some shops. It is also a half mile from an excellent beach, Los Cancajos. Great snorkeling cove on the far left. Apartments have bedrooms, living room and kitchenette. Didn't like -- very crowded sometimes, hard to park. Not enough staff when crowded. No amenities except soap.

Qualité du Wifi passable, une salle de sport dépassée, pas de serviettes pour la salle de sport, il faut demander la clé et la rapporter à chaque séance (sauf si une personne a déjà pris la clé. Manque de chance la personne a mis 30 min avant de s’y rendre…), lumière de la chambre blanche très désagréable, le tout assez vieillot, lit qui grince, linge de lit de mauvaise qualité, pas de télécommande pour la climatisation, route très brouillante, bruit des avions très fort, de la rouille dans la baignoire et pommeau de douche, le petit déjeuné se termine trop tôt, le positif: personnel à l’accueil très sympathique, petit déjeuner simple et efficace.

El hotel está bien ubicado para estar tranquilo y la atención es muy buena. El desayuno buffet es muy variado. Cosas mejorables: la dureza de las camas, tener habitaciones con plato de ducha, y sería ideal contar con A/A (al menos en la habitación).

Utmärkt hotell

Jag bodde på Las Olas för andra gången - bott där för några år sedan. Hotellet ligger nära flygplatsen och har busshållplats alldeles i närheten. Mycket fint rum - stort vardagsrum med matlagningsmöjligheter. Stort sovrum. Fin balkong under tak. Fint poolområde med stort antal solbäddar. Mycket bra frukost. Middagen kanske lite i enklaste laget, men helt okej. Trevlig personal. Tyvärr fick jag en myrinvasion, men den åtgärdades per omgående trots sen kväll.

Al hacer el check in nos comunican que al tener media pensión, sino llegamos a tiempo por la noche nos dan una cena fría, nos pasó un día y nos dice una recepcionista (Rita) que eso es solo para los que llegan tarde del barco, lo cual al llegar allí nos dicen que eso no es cierto. Otro aspecto negativo es que desde las 07.45 las limpiadoras moviendo sillas y dando golpes sin respetar el descanso.
