“This is a gorgeous hotel. Our room was incredible. Huge and stylish. The bathroom was wonderful with a round tub. The staff were super helpful with us leaving bags while we hiked for a few days and booking a taxi for us. Possibly the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. ”

“This hotel always has many vacant rooms. Why is that? The communication at this hotel is non-existent and incredibly one-sided. They are lightning-fast when it's in their favor, but they conveniently ignore you when a problem arises. I requested a change/refund, but they waited until it was too late to reply, only to use that delay as an excuse to deny my request.
They claimed they were too busy with emails to respond sooner, yet magically replied within minutes as soon as I mentioned leaving a...

“The rooms have been clearly designed by someone with some name. They have been over-designed so much that the end-result is sadly dysfunctional. Let me explain.
The lighting looks nice but also leaves the room very dark. The shower is not in a separate room but right next to the bed. Sprayed water everywhere is almost a certainty. Also, someone going to the toilet in the night and washing their hands needs to put on lights in the same room as the bed. Additionally, there's virtually no room for...

“The whole experience was unreal and I'm not sure I can holiday anywhere else with kids ever again. The kids club, activities, staff, food, spa, pool, room - EVERYTHING was amazing.
If you're English and worried about language barriers for the kids, we had no issues, all the staff speak great english and at dinner you get a set table which is near other English speaking families to easily make friends. A couple of the kids shows are in Italian but our toddler still loved them and all the outings...
