B&B in Brittany

This was a beautiful Château. The family was very inviting. We enjoyed learning about the local history while eating breakfast and dinner that was really well prepared. One of the top places to visit if you are in the area.

We only stayed one night at the Chateau, so we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to explore the grounds. The little that we were able to see was beautiful and such a needed break from the chaos of Paris. The hosts were helpful and very kind. The breakfast in the morning was delightful. Very clean room and the common area. Quiet neighborhood within 10 minutes walk to the center. We didn't try breakfast option. The owner speaks good English and was very helpful with her recommendations.

Staying here is both unique and beautiful. I don’t feel as though I’m in a hotel. I feel like a welcomed guest on the estate of French royalty. The very large bedrooms are lovely. If you are traveling in the area, treat yourself to stay here. You will feel as though you’ve stepped back in time to another era. An era designed for a Hollywood movie.

This property is a comfortable updated farm-style B&B, located in the lower-middle of the Cherbourg Peninsula between the Normandy Beaches and and Mont Saint Michel. Originally a farm, it's been professionally renovated but still maintains an attitude of French country charm. Our room was well sized with a comfortable bed and plenty of room to hang out or take a walk.

Really atmospheric manor house with modern amenities. Good welcome, great breakfast and accommodating welcome.

We enjoyed our four nights at the beautiful and tranquil Le Bellevue. Rooms were stylish and comfortable, the food delicious and the staff friendly. A great stay!

Absolutely friendly and helpful host that showed us around the place, explain the history, made us feel very welcome. We experienced the adjacent hiking trails and fed the beautiful horses. The breakfast brought to our doorstep was fantastic. I could not recommend the location and experience more.

Excellent breakfasts served by our gracious host. We had dinner in the dining room on vending and it was a delight….delicious….unique….excellent!

We had children with us, and they were very kind to us. I was also able to relax in a lovely room, and I am very satisfied.

The hotel is fantastic. Really nice gentleman who owns it, very accommodating to us as a family. The town of Messac/Guipry shuts down early though and it’s hard to find places to buy food and eat out as a family. L’Escala was really our only option.

A treasure hidden in a lovely small village. Excellent for day trips drives to Normandy & Brittany.
