โGreat location for a course I was attending and close to shopping centre and restaurants. Room was clean, spacious, and beautiful! Only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to have a fridge in the roomโฆ other than that can fault the Market House! โ
โBeautiful building and interior. We came for our mini honeymoon and got ungraded. We had a congratulations note with chocolates in the room and rose petals scattered on a king size bed. Large room, large bathroom. Decent breakfast but quite minimalistic for ยฃ20/person.

โSuperb hospitality here and the staff were extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. For those travelling by train, it takes about 25-30mins to walk into the centre of Reading, but is only 10 mins by bus and these are frequent. I stayed here on a work trip. I would have liked a bath to relax into at the end of a long day, but I guess you can't have everything!โ
โSimple, efficient. Nice room. We only stayed one night, as it was a family party that we travelled to. Hotel seemed to be empty/almost empty when we stayed.โ
โThe staff was friendly and helpful. The facility felt fresh, cozy and clean. It was in good repair with great water pressure. Certainly was convenient for us flying into Heathrow and then driving on to Scotland.. The 7 of us will be back next weekend before flying out to head home. Thank you!โ

Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. I wanted to confirm the arrangements upfront as it was getting to the stage where I thought I would need to arrange alternative accommodation.
