"I had an excellent stay at Websters; Matt was an exceptional host, and made my visit to Salisbury a pleasure.
The room was clean, spacious, and very well equipped. The breakfast was delicious, and tailored well to my needs. The location of the guesthouse is also a bonus; being only a ten minute walk from the centre of town. "

"Easy to get to, tasty food. Evening staff both fab, morning person not as much. Bedroom and bathroom lovely size and biscuits/tea generous. Slept well, though the radiators were rather hot and I didn’t know how to turn them down.
Evening food delicious but morning breakfast could have been better; toast came out cold. Breakfast is slightly weird in that it’s not a self-serve, you get drinks brought to you from the options you circled on a menu from the previous night.

"Nice stay, great host, breakfast excellent, parking excellent, small room but absolutely fine for what we needed. Shortish walk to town and back, bus service available but we just walked. Definitely would stay again."

"All staff members were very helpful it was okay I think they should offer something like poached eggs or something I would rate the breakfast as a 3 star "
"The spa was awful - the steam room stank of mould and was unuseable to us and all other guests and the pool water quality was so poor you couldn’t see in the water. The towels smelt heavily of used treatment oils. I complained as very disappointing "
"Had standard room and facilities as described, clean, couple of minor issues with condition of bathroom, but everything working. Staff welcoming and helpful, food at breakfast and dinner good. Outside of hotel needs refresh, but has nice postion by waterside."
"The Leonardo hotel in Southampton is decent value for money. The room is spacious, and the staff simply amazing. Little if any noise gets in from outside so you’ll have a great night sleep, and the breakfast is very good for this price bracket.
However the location is a bit… weird. If you’ve stepped off the airport bus (itself great value) at Giddy Bridge and approach the hotel it’s just… awkward to get into. Although there are traffic lights right there, you have to walk another block to the next set of lights to be able to cross to the hotel… and if you come from another direction there’s a fair chance you’ll have the same problem because it’s as if it, and it’s partner building, were built in the middle of a roundabout (or should that be speedtrack given the pace the drivers go?)
The rooms are also a bit tired. The carpet in my room at the bed leg was completely worn through, and the shower head was not pleasant, I would expect a rainfall one at this price point.
But overall a pleasant enough place for a few days."
"Clean room, very friendly staff, quiet rooms, couch and desk chair were very comfortable, had a reliable safe and mini fridge that held all our items needing refrigeration overnight. A great little stay for us before heading up to see the coastal causeway. It was across the street from the train station so very convenient for travellers such as ourselves. "
"Check in process poor, greeted by 3 staff staring at us none of whom spoke to say hello when we entered. Check in process very long delayed by user login issues. Went to room and keys didn’t work, returned to reception and waited again to be told had been given keys to incorrect room. Had booked king room on the basis that website showed there would be a walk in shower. We had shower over bath which we couldn’t use as there are no grab rails. Didn’t book breakfast and was told if we decided in morning it would cost an extra £5 each which is unreasonable when you don’t know if you will want breakfast until the morning. Felt forced into paying upsell for breakfast at check-in which we declined. Parking charge is high for overnight guests don’t be greedy Voco!"
