“The price you pay to stay at the Sunset is affordable. The staff are wonderful. This is where we stay when we visit each year.”

“Staff were proud locals. Room was clean but I found the mattress sloped and the air conditioner noisy with a fan that would blow on, then off, constantly. Hotel had good amenities with free washer and dryer for guests and various coffees from a machine on the ground floor. They provided a free cold bagged breakfast. Unfortunately there was no elevator. Right next to a Boston Pizza, and there is a lounge at the hotel with pub type food.”

“The room was very clean, quiet, and comfy. The air conditioning units worked very well and the rooms had really good blinds so that it got dark enough to sleep. The water pressure was great for showering. I only stayed one night but I slept really well here and would stay again! The location is walking distance from everything you need.”

“Horrible experience. When we arrived, we checked the room before completing our check-in and found it in terrible condition. It was so dirty that we refused to stay there. Even though our reservation clearly stated 'pay later', the manager forced a full charge on us and completely denied our request to cancel the booking. Beware of this place - zero flexibility and awful room quality.”

“Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit.”
