โThis was my second visit in six weeks. We wanted on son to experience the house and Birmingham. As my previous experience, it was lovely and we enjoyed the bird house room more. The bird house truly suits a family and my husband and son enjoyed having a TV in the room. I'm also happy to see some of my previous suggestions were implemented in just a couple of weeks. My best experience is still the other guests as well as the house. I will be back but it will not be so soon ๐ญ๐.โ
โVery nice stay - very clean. Never saw any staff so canโt review that. Parking was minimal and cramped - luckily we ubered where we needed to go so that we wouldnโt lose our spot. Check-in is simply using door code given per emailโฆ very simple and easy. The room is basically that, a room big enough for bed and side tables and dresser. โI was there for business travel and needed my mom to be able to take care of my baby while I worked. We had adjoining rooms which was perfect. While it is an older hotel they are in the midst of renovations - itโs clean and friendly and the location cannot be beat in terms of putting you right into Mountain Brook village. Iโm very glad we stayed here and I look forward to seeing what they do with the renovation.โ
โEverything to like, a brand new place with a well thought out conversion of an interesting building into a true boutique hotel, rooms are a really nice (as in large) size, more than agree with all the other comments on the ultra comfy beds/sheets, no street noise and easy parking outside, just a few blocks to 2 fave restaurants in one direction and more central places in the other, wish them well and will be staying here next visit to B'ham for sure.โ
โRoom was very nice and clean. Ideal for close proximity to UAB-Highlands. The only problem I had is the key card lock on my hotel room door. I had the hardest time getting in twice to the point where I thought that the key had demagnetized and had them reprogram the key. That was frustrating since I was on the fifth floor, but overall, I would definitely stay again.โ
โStaff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting, I work Nights at Grandview across the street as an RN and am able to get late checkouts and early checkins. I stay here frequently with my family when I work multiple shifts back to back over the summer and we love the pool and free Breakfast and Dinner โ
โBest hotel in Birmingham in my opinion. There are only about a half dozen rooms so it's very quiet. The rooms are great, with plenty of space. The common area with the kitchen and indoor and outdoor sitting areas is very nice, and again, due to the small size it's always quiet. The location is also incredible, as your within walking distance to multiple nice restaurants, and anything beyond that is a quick Uber/Lyft. โMy son and I were visiting Birmingham for a soccer tournament and for the budget conscious traveler, you won't find a better choice than this Comfort Inn.
