"Our stay Was nice and relaxing.bed was comfortable. Tea coffee with lots of milk . Free standing bath made a nice change also with shower hose.complimentary shower gel , shampoo and body lotion .Warning though! If you book into the restaurant make sure your hungry generous meals lots of choice very pleased with what we had . Breakfast was lovely too.Out second time here . Thanks"

"We stayed one night last weekend, we had to be moved because the toilet flush didn't work but fortunately that wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are far enough away from the bar so as to be quiet. Our only small criticism of room 3 is that it's in the eaves and the shower screen is fixed so it is almost impossible to turn on the bath tap without actually getting in the bath! A silly design fault. The location on the river is lovely and it was good to have a drink outside in the sunshine in April. Dinner was amazing, the restaurant was packed on a Sunday night but service was quick, friendly and efficient. My Asian burger with king prawns and my wife's baby ribs were amazing and portions were enormous; we had no room for what looked like lovely desserts. £60 for this quality of food with a couple of drinks is excellent value. Breakfast was good too although there was not a great deal of choice. We were the only people staying but would certainly go to this pub again."
