"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. "We loved the hotel, however in the warm weather the fans do nothing to cool the room down enough to get a good night's sleep. We mentioned to staff who adjusted the fan but it seemed minimum temp was 18 degrees! Couldn't get the shaver sockets to work in bathroom but luckily we had an adapter. One of the blinds in our room was missing it's winder so had to roll it up manually in order to get some air into room. Often forgot to give us towels or full quota of towels which was annoying.
