"Clean rooms, excellent staff, breakfast was excellent, get the Mountain View room, the view of Mt. Eiger was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying when visiting Grindelwald."

"We had a very nice view of Eiger Mountain from our room. The room is in the back side of the hotel (2nd building) so it's nice, but it also takes some efforts to go through the hotel to get there ( a bit of a maze going thru). Hotel staff is friendly. Complimentary drinks are a big plus. They said they replenish everyday, but that was not the case as some items were not replenished. The room is extremely hot from floor heating."

"Derby was a somewhat reasonably priced option in Grindelwald, so my expectations were limited. I have to say I was very pleased with my small but functional room, which had fantastic views. Good breakfast with properly cooked bacon and eggs. Excellent location, overlooking the train station. Updated windows and patio doors neutralized the noise from the station. Very pleased overall."

"It became very bad and boring after what was so excellent I visited it for the third time in a row I was saying to myself the first and second time, there is nothing better than him. I loved him so much that I thought of buying shares if it was allowed. But after the last visit, I will not think about coming back again. I checked out at 6:00 am, knowing that my plane was at 16:00. The variety of food has been greatly reduced The able staff has disappeared Something big happened there Maybe the administration has changed."

"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. The hotel was otherwise excellent with its staff, amenities, location."
