"The apartment had all the things I needed (refrigerator, stove, dishes, pots and pans, etc.); located a short distance from a main road in Huatulco where there was plenty of activity (shops, restaurants, hotels, beach) but far enough away to feel buffered from noise and traffic; because of the location, it is helpful to have a vehicle (as I did); hostess was helpful, polite and not at all obtrusive; there is no washer for guests but the hostess did my laundry for a minimal fee. It was the first time I stayed in a house instead of a hotel in Huatulco, and I'd stay here again rather than at a hotel."

"The grounds and building are excellent. Very clean and modern. Rooms are comfortable and have great amenities. Beds, linens and sheets/towels are nice as well. Beware, the standard rooms have NO view or deck area. They literally back onto a fairly busy walkway, which is your view. To upgrade, the cost is quite high. For the next level upgrade (Junior Suite) we paid $1400CAN for 6 nights. Food was decent, the buffet was repetitive after 10 days. Some of the dishes that should have been warm or hot were not. The menu items were prepared fresh and definitely were better. Same with the breakfast....buffet was decent, menu items were much better. Drinks were all over the place. They had Dos XX on tap and many types of low grade hard alcohol. Mixed drinks were a crap shoot, unless you ordered something very simple. They had no drink menu, but I think that would be helpful so that the bartenders could all be trained to make drinks the same way. Staff was similar to most places. Some good, some ok, some indifferent. We had a couple of experiences where we sat first, but were served/waited on after local couples were sat after us. This happened more than once. We also had to help ourselves to menus a few times while staff were talking amongst themselves and/or on their phones. Cleaning staff were excellent however! All in all, a solid 3.5. For the original price we paid, plus the upgrade, the value just wasn't there. For our all in price, better choices exist."

"My room was perfect in every sense. The air conditioning kept it fresh. The king size bed was super comfortable and the pillows too. Honestly my stay here was completely worth it! "

"Elevator was not working the entire stay... we were informed of this prior to our arrival. According to others this is an ongoing problem. Nabani T1 also had their elevators not operating. Rooftop pool [ 6th floor ] not very handy with no elevators. First day on site we found what we were told was lizard excrement in the pool, took maintenance two days to drain/fill... and we were not updated that the pool was ok to use for another two days as our contact was on a day off and not one followed up. Upon arrival we messaged our contact that there was a damaged blind in the living room, and a vanity faucet that was very loose... promised that maintenance would be by at 10am the next day... no one showed up the entire week. Both bathroom showers leak.. one is 'fixed' with duct tape along the glass wall.. the other just pours into the bathroom floor. Kitchen is poorly equipped.. no serving bowls, minimal kitchen tools, no ice cube trays, paring knife, etc. No basic cooking items apart from salt/pepper. Anyone planning on cooking will need to bring everything else. Overall... the building is nice, location is ok with a short walk to town. Back bedroom has no windows, front bedroom is quite loud with dogs barking non stop most nights. overall, lots of potential to make the place nice... but as it is right now it isn't a great value for the price paid. "The person who greeted us was not friendly. The property was not well kept. 2 scary & sick looking dogs laying in the doorways. The room was extremely smelly of Black Mould. Shower faucet dripped constantly. Onlyb2 towels and no bathmat to dry feet. The walls were cracked and cement falling off in parts. The room was not clean. Missing a fitted sheet on the bed so slept ontop of the top sheet. No chair in the room or outside of the room. Pool was very dirty water fountain not operational. Other fountains on property not operational. No hangers or anywhere to hang wet clothes. Closet for clothing had 2 drawers covered in Black Mould and rotting wood trim."
