We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, clean, and very comfortable. The amenities were perfect for our family, and the beautiful scenery made our trip even more enjoyable. Lidner hotel has got its charm back. The staff are amazing. Breakfast has a wide choice of everything and cater for both children and adults. The dinner and pool restaurants has good quality food but unfortunately it was a bit hot by the pool restaurant. A few more parasols would help here. The Lindner is not overlooking the sea but it’s a truly great location as u easily get into Palma without getting ruined. The absolute treat was to get a voucher by the hotel that paid for your taxi ride down to the best beaches; Cala Comptessa and Illetes beach. (4 min max). There you can bask in the sunshine by the waterfront all day and return to a cold room in the afternoon. Be early to the beach though - like 10am max, that’s when you have a chance to get a lounger or a space in the sand. These beaches are very popular by the locals and locals get there early.

The room was very clean and well planned, more than usual hotel rooms. Lots of wardrobe space and build in space to put your bag. The shower had a fixed shower glass screen which is much better than the flimsy doors or curtains that you sometimes get.

Hotel had very different “vibe” as had an African theme with lots of taxidermy in main lobby and colonial theme throughout. We had garden room which opened onto grassed area by pool which was lovely. We love this place and this is the second time we have visited. Great hotel - buffet style breakfast, with a huge selection to pick from. Swimming pools are clean and of a good size. There is a shop opposite for any needs. Three beaches all within walking distance. The hotel will organise a taxi free of charge if you’d rather. Staff gave us a glass of bubbles on arrival and looked after us.

This hotel seems to be a hub for and catering to German travellers. We arrived on a weekend and the hotel felt like it was overbooked! The restaurant is understaffed, and the wait staff there need better customer service training. Being busy and telling your customers politely to wait works … ignoring them for 20 minutes and not looking at them is extremely rude! We left and did not eat at the hotel pool bar the rest of our trip. There are much better and cheaper options just 5 minutes of a drive away. The one evening we came back from a sailing trip late and called for room service they said their machine didn’t work and to call them back after 20 minutes! With 2 hungry kids at 10:30pm, this doesn’t work. Thankfully, Uber Eats came to the rescue. Regarding our room, we had booked a family suite, and the room felt old, needing upgrades. On one of the hottest days the AC did not work. And the hotel staff did nothing to help. The pool is good, and is their one saving grace, but besides that the rest of the property could do with an upgrade. This is our 5th hotel on this Spain/ Portugal trip, and was the worst one- especially for the price we paid. Won’t be coming back here again and wouldn’t recommend the property go international travelers with kids.
