This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' ”

“We loved the room that we stayed in. It was recently decorated in greys and pastel pinks. The room felt spacious and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was large with a separate bath and shower. The full English breakfast was cooked to order and as you would expect but I would have liked the option of fruit or rolls or pastries. The owner was courteous and friendly. Very disappointed by the size of the room - the Heligan is tiny - just enough room for the bed and very little wardrobe space - so had to keep my clothes in my case and it was a squeeze in and out of the bathroom - which has an opaque window - so if you dont mind seeing your partner on the loo then its ok. For a room described as 'deluxe' with a kingsize bed it was a let down, having travelled 300 miles to get there. Overall though...
