"My 6-year-old wants everyone to know this hotel is better than the Shangri-La because they give you free bacon, waffles, and hot chocolate. The pool was lovely, the room was clean and spacious, and it’s a very convenient base for exploring Paso Robles and the surrounding wine country."

"Breakfast was amazing. Happy hour when we got there was great and unexpected. The front desk was awesome and efficient. I had some issues with the housekeeping not being fast enough we were out of the room for hours and the room was not made until later in the afternoon and we had to.wait outside the.room while they finished cleaning. Parking was awesome. Doordash was ok delivered direct to the room. We had trouble navigating a place for.dinner the first night the place next door we planned on eating at closed great at 5pm, that sucked. Overall a great trip."

"We have stayed at the Oaks every time we come to Paso Robles. It is clean and quiet. Our room was near the air conditioner pipes and not sure but I heard a loud sound. Next time I will ask for another room. I wish they would put more effort into the breakfast. It’s a nice place to stay."

"My wife and I did a 2 week trip through California and Oregon and stayed at 9 different places and the Piccalo was hands down the nicest of the places we stayed. As soon as we pulled up, the valet was there to help us with our luggage. The front desk staff was very welcoming and got us checked in quickly. We had a ground floor room with a nice outdoor area to sit in the courtyard. We had a nice handwritten card thanking us and wishing us a nice stay. The room was spotless had a lot of nice amenities. They even offer turndown service with chocolates. They offer a complimentary glass of wine on their rooftop restaurant each afternoon. It's in a great location to walk around downtown Paso Robles. We're already planning a return trip. Would recommend 100%."

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable! Tv reception was shaking working off and on! Great restaurant on site but many more surrounding area, walking distance! Would book there again"
