“The hotel is isolated from the happenings on the island. I was told that the hotel was fully booked but there were no other cars onsite besides my rental. There was no one available for common questions and the gate was closed by 5pm. This was a manual gate which is fine but the lightening was bad on the exterior of the property making it difficult to see when returning after dark. “Perfect for a hermit!”

“Needs more maintenance in the general areas including sidewalks. The rooms need better cleaning of bed clothing, drapes and mattresses.”

“The Golden Rock is a one of a kind property and we cannot wait to go back. The cleanliness was a 10/10 and the landscaping was absolutely stunning. The restaurant was excellent for every meal we had. I highly recommend the conch chowder. Thank you Golden Rock! ”

“The location is great and generally the rooms are nice. It is a great Bargain for your buck, especially if you are someone who likes your own kitchen and space. Perfect for a family trip in my case a business trip. There was a washer and dryer and detergent provided. Rooms were also easily available on short notice which was great. My only issue is there can be a little more attention to maintenance of the units (making sure lights and AC units are working and pipes aren't leaking). Also...
