“The staff were helpful, quite at night. It's right on the riverside, lots of walks on the door step. Room was nice, shower in our room needed updating.”

“My second stay here and the experience both times has been very similar. It is a stunning building in beautiful grounds. Some of the staff are really nice but some really couldn't care less. On this trip the gentleman on breakfast just barked "room number" when I approached. He didn't offer me any tea or coffee either - although I heard him offer someone else some. “We were warned that the hotel was being refurbished . The main reception was already completed and looked lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the second morning of our stay they had a coach load of people arrive and were short of staff for breakfast. Consequently quite a lot of the buffet was unavailable but they did apologise and it was hardly their fault if staff were off sick. Overall we had a good time.”

“Room had mould and not very clean. Paid for bed and breakfast but we had to leave early and they couldn’t provide breakfast, again tried to charge us again on the way out. Music was blasting all night and got no sleep. ”
