Really nice hotel with a pleasant roof terrace and great staff; the free coffee all day was a nice touch as were the free croissants first thing. Lots of interesting food options nearby - iconic dining at: The Roxy; Bubby’s and Katz Diner were all only a short walk away. There are good transport connections via the nearby subway station and it sits in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy.

The Coast Guard shut down all boats due to strong gusty winds. I suggest going when it's 50 or above degrees.

Get there as early as possible. We arrived at 10:15am, and had to slog through a long line for an hour and 20 minutes. But once there, it was well laid out.
