"The property itself is nice, not perfect aesthetically but given the environmental conditions it is located in nice. There is staff working every day to maintain it. All staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful to the extent they could be. The area it fell short for us was the Ala carte dinner restaurants. A couple of them we ate at were very good but others simply were less than we hoped for and expected."

"The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Your stay is much more enjoyable if it includes access to the water park. Be aware that Expedia bookings may not include all resort fees, so review the final charges before you arrive. Also, many of the restaurants and amenities on the property close relatively early, typically by between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., so plan your meals and activities accordingly."
Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"It is a good place to stay in paradise island. Walking distance to Atlantis on the beach side. If you have an Atlantis day pass you can leave Atlantis come back to the hotel for food or drinks and walk right back. We did that during lunch hour while we stayed there. The hotel is clean and the staff that works at the bars and restaurants are great as well as housekeeping. The best part of the all inclusive is the breakfast and Jerk Chicken station the rest of the food lunch and dinner is pretty average. I wish they had better room service selections but it wasn't that bad if you wanted a quick snack and didn't feel like leaving your room. The mini bar is great and if you run out of beers they're quick to bring you more. The rooms are spacious and housekeeping came every day to make our beds and bring us clean towels. The only downside of the rooms is you can't control the thermostat. Overnight the rooms are extremely cold. So bring long pants and long sleeves to sleep. There were nights I slept with my travel hoodie on. Lol. The pool area is nice and spacious. The only thing I didn't like its that the pool closes at 7pm. In most resorts I stayed at pools are open until 10 or later. The beach is amazing and the water is not rough. Same as the pool the staff starts gathering chairs, umbrellas and tables at 6 pm. Their beach staff works until 7 pm. If you're looking for nightlife you have to go to Atlantis or outside of paradise island."

"Gorgeous property and mostly wonderful staff. Personal concierge was extremely helpful and planned many birthday surprises for our trip. Unexpected and very disappointing downfall was that the beach is not useful. Full of seaweed. Balcony suite was HUGE and very well unkept. Cool air and beautiful accents took the spacious room over the top. Amazing view of the pool for our room as well!! Far from airport, but arranging transportation before hand - through trip advisor made to and from the airport a breeze!"

"Amazing property, friendly and helpful staff! Property was clean and smelled good, The bar/lounge area had ample space for hanging out with beautiful furniture and plants, Easy walk to local restaurants, bars and the beach. The beach has high waves and is considered dangerous and there is no lifeguard on duty. The water was warm and beautiful so it's fine to stay close to the shore."
