“This was a different hotel experience than expected, but not in a bad way. We arrived unfamiliar with the check-in procedures, or even which door to enter for the hotel. We found our way into the hotel restaurant and a gracious employee took us around to the desk where we got our key. Our room in this 1920's vibe hotel was #3. “Pool was closed. Tbf, it was cold. Room A/C smelled horrible when it first started. Room Keurig was absolutely FILTHY, had very old water and some growth in the reservoir. The bed was ok, but the "box spring" was a metal box that made a gong sound evry time I moved. It was a place to sleep. ”

“First thing i noticed is the lobby was locked to guests at 4:30 pm. Had to ring a bell for service. Person at window was pleasant. No name tag so i could not give her kudos. On departure only was still locked at 8:30 am. New person at window. I asked if the lobby was ever unlocked. He said no. Reservation was for a standard King non smoking room.
