If one is not there for a fancy hotel room, but for sightseeing, this is a great, clean, bare bones room. It is close to the train station. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view! Breakfast was also on the 5th floor. Close proximity to all the museums and Duomo, 20 minute walk or less to everything. We walked everywhere!

Polite and respectful staff. In a central location, sometimes found easier to walk back to hotel to go to toilet than find a toilet in the city!
Breakfast had minimal variety, but plenty of food. Rooms tidy.

I understand it’s an old hotel that is centrally located. That being said, it is too overpriced for the condition of the room. I wouldn’t recommend to others as Florence is such a small city that everywhere you book/ you’re in the “center.” Not worth the value is all for me.
