โWe could not be happier with our stay at Il Verreno. We arrived late on our first night and they were able to hold our table in the restaurant for dinner.
My husband had Coeliac disease and not once did we have to tell the staff, they had a note in file and every single one of them remembered for the whole trip.
They made changes to the menu for him, ensuring he had gluten free bread and pasta etc.
the service was excellent throughout the hotel, the hotel was clean and the rooms are beautiful....
โGreat property in the middle of Siena. Room was beautiful, great shower, comfortable bed and we were on the top floor so a beautiful view.
Great staff, Sara and Adele were very welcoming and super helpful. No elevators and a steep stairwell (fine for us but just be prepared to climb stairs). Would definitely stay again. โ
โA wonderful overnight stay at this historical and traditional building, close to the heart of Siena. Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon.โ
โIf having an accommodation in the very center of things is your goal, this property is the perfect solution. But travelers need to be aware that accessing this residence in your own car is not possible. But you can park in a covered garage in town and a valet will take you right to the front door and pick you up when you are ready to leave. Well worth the 35 euro for the service! Ada was extremely helpful in instructing us about how to reach the hotel and had many suggestions for what to see. I...
โA perfect place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Stunning views. Great facilities including a swimming pool and tennis court and a fabulous place to relax. Food & refreshments excellent. Easy distance from Florence and neighbouring villages. A wonderful place as a base to see much of Tuscany. โ
