"We just returned from a 3-night family stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and overall had a really wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautiful, very lively, and offers plenty to do for families. The food was a highlight of our trip. Fantastic wine, cocktails, Pizza Lab, the food trucks, and M Café were all excellent and consistently fresh and flavorful. Cinko had a nice atmosphere and good food overall, though we felt some dishes were a bit under-seasoned. Sugar Factory was fun for the family and the food was decent but over cooked.. steak, burger and chicken all dry and overcooked and the service was slower during our visit, likely due to being understaffed, but the staff remained kind and accommodating. The staff across the resort truly stood out. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and welcoming, and they played a big role in making our stay feel special. The rooms are comfortable and clean, though they could use some light updating in certain areas. Still, they were perfectly nice and functional for a family stay. The crowd during our visit was mixed, with many young families and groups. While we personally found some guests to be a bit snobby, unaware of shared spaces and resort etiquette at times, this is more a reflection of individual visitors rather than the resort itself, which was well run and enjoyable."

"This is a fantastic resort! The room was clean and comfortable and looked just like the website photos. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were -- every single one of them -- friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Lady Sara, the concierge, can fix up any excursions a guest might want to do. There is a nice pool area with slides for the kids. There are hammocks and games and loungers available. We had a lagoon room, which was peaceful and enchanting. The beach has nice sand and good swimming, with plenty of sea creatures to look at. Good restaurants are within easy walking distance. The resort offers a tasty breakfast, too. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. We had a wonderful time!"

"The best part of the house was the location. You are literally next to the beach. We could walk outside and around the side of the house and then you sitting on the beach. The water is amazingly beautiful and warm. The house has lots of room and the master bedroom has the best view. The only problem with the house is that there are cockroaches. Not the huge ones, and you only see one in various rooms so they are not everywhere. We put all our food in the fridge to keep them out. We also made sure to rinse off dishes before use. The other issue was the cooking stove. It needs to be cleaned or serviced, so the burners can work correctly. The house is really close to a grocery store and Wendy's so you can walk to them fairly easy. Despite the couple of bugs and the cooking stove, the place was awesome. I would definitely recommend it to people. "
