The people of Nassau were friendly and seemed very happy to live in Nassau. The waters were incredibly clear and clean. The new US Embassy is very impressive and the history is impressive. We need to support our nearby island countries.

Beautiful, relaxing, enjoyable, friendly people!! Our driver from the airport, Alphonso Albury, was incredibly knowledgeable of Bahamas and very friendly and honest! He agreed to get us the following morning and was there 15 minutes early too!

I felt very safe sightseeing in the main part of the city and exploring the large mega resorts. Taxi drivers were very good as well the people of Nassau. Just always be sensible when exploring and know your surroundings. All good!

Nassau has its good and bad areas. I've never felt unsafe while in Nassau. The people, for the most part, are very friendly and never miss an opportunity to bid you "good morning, afternoon or evening."

If you are travelling to Bahamas and you are looking for a soulless and commercial full of people accommodation this isn't it. It was a great escape from a busy downtown of Nassau.

A lot of dining places are closed in early November before the busy season. Most of the cabbies were nice, but about 1/3 of them tried to rip me off with elevated fares.

The Resort and Hotel areas are nice, unfortunately the streets of Nassau do not feel safe.
