The desk employee worked quickly to get me checked in and was very welcoming. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The room was a nice size, although, the bayhroom was small. There was an issue with the outlet nesr the door when i used the hair dryer. The plug dod not fit tightly in the outlet, so the dryer would turn off when I moved it. After a couple of minutes if frustration, I realized there was an outlet at the other end of the counter. When I unplugged the dryer, the outlet sparked and the plug was very hot and burned my hand. The outlet at the other end worked just fine. I did report the plug issue as I checked out that morning. One other thing worth noting is that the layout of this hotel is unique. It is not one building, but two different building connected by a catwalk. The dining room for breakfast is in the other building we did not stay in, and it took a little effort to figure out the maze to get there. It's not a negative, just something worth noting.

First I want to say I give a lot of grace and rarely ever complain. We stay at many different hotels for kids travel sports. I know it’s a you get what you pay for, but this was priced higher than it should be. The pictures are a lot nicer than the actual property. The vibe of the hotel is straight out of the American Horror Story. My kids didn’t feel comfortable. We didn’t feel the safest there are apartments right next door and there were a couple instances of cops. The skywalk to the pool smells terribly of mold. The room we stayed in was okay, very outdated. The bathroom had a strong urine stench, mirrors had finger prints, and the tray with soap had hair. The heating/ac unit in the room didn’t seem to work appropriately we had it set to 63 and it never got very cool. The ventilation is poor. Both of my kids woke up stuffy/runny noses. The breakfast is meh. We made waffles and they had black spots in them that looked like the cast iron or the waffle maker was flaking off. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay here again. I will say the check in process was smooth and the front desk lady was very friendly.

Pool was used by community groups that didn't always want to share. Breakfast looked like it had been reheated from yesterday. It was not yummy. Waffle batter was sour. Property old but clean. Wouldn't stay again.
