“When booking make sure you pick the River Lodge - a lot of the properties have similar names. I was so afraid it would be noisy but I’m convinced the people reporting noise were at a different location. I stayed at the River Lodge on a busy weekend in August and it was super quiet & tranquil. “Waypoint “Hotel” is actually a motel, but a high end one. The room was spacious and clean. The facility has a lovely lobby with ample, comfortable seating. The swimming pool is in the parking lot, which is more fun than it sounds. Waypoint is about 15 minute walk to, charming, downtown Bend. Our favorite coffee was just off Drake Park, but there is a Starbucks closer to the hotel.
