"I’ve stayed here before. A coworker told me they stayed here and when I booked room, found out they’re associated with Hilton Program. When I arrived, the staff greeted warmly, with a genuine smile. The facility looked clean and up to date. My room was nicely appointed and there were typical noises from inside and out. They have included buffet breakfast. Check outs a snap. I would recommend this motel. Happy travels to all. "

"Generally all was pleasant about this downtown Phoenix lodging EXCEPT there was NO elevator so we had to lug our heavy load up to the 2nd floor. We were pleased that there wasn't breakfast offered because we wanted to eat at Matts Big Breakfast nearby...best bacon I've ever eaten!"

"We came into Phoenix to see a concert and since this hotel was right around the corner from the venue I figured it'd be a cool place to stay. It's an old hotel and it definitely looks like it. I'm no professional but I'm sure there's a way to keep the historic charm while still keeping it updated. The bed was really, really firm and if I hadn't driven 700 miles it probably would have been uncomfortable but after being in the car for 10 hours it wasn't the worst. "I really liked the friendliness of the reception staff. Melinda helped me and was super sweet. The gentleman(forgot his name) helped with getting my bags to the room. Not having a microwave in the room is inconvenient enough but they did not have one in the hotel for guest use and I felt that is ridiculous in 2024."

"Super 8 apparently sold this property to Valley Inn. When I showed up, I was informed that they did not have my reservation, even though Expedia charged my card and sent me a confirmation email. Neither Super 8 nor Expedia informed me. Absolutely terrible and unacceptable communication."
