"A good budget option for a pricey city. Hotel was perfect location, right in Mission Valley; 10 minutes to the zoo, 10 ish to the beach, 10 to Seaworld. It had a nice pool and hot tub. Staff was extremely helpful. The check-in computors weren't working right so I got a text to register the night before and then check in was very quick and easy. I booked a room with a kitchenette, perfect for someone who doesn't want to eat out every meal. The room did have a smell to it, kind of chemically, like they were trying to mask something. It wasn't bad but noticeable and when I tried to open the door and window to air it out the traffic noise was too much. Also one day they were deep cleaning the carpets below me with a special van and that noice was crazy loud even with the door shut. I was disapointed they charged for parking. Seriously, its a big lot in a low traffic area. How can that cost $50? If I was thinking ahead I would have parked on the street and saved myself some money. I would stay again and I would recommend to anyone wanting an affordable hotel in an expensive city."
