“The property is very nice, private, quiet and clean. I gave this property a 5 Star rating with one caveat: there was no faucet handle for the shower. In its place was a pair of vice grips - it was difficult to regulate the temperature and water pressure, because it was not easy to turn. I recently suffered a shoulder injury, and, it was very hard for me to use the shower because I could barely turn the makeshift “handle” I would stay here again if the faucet handle were fixed.”

“We enjoy the cottages here. It’s convenient for us when we visit my college kid. Check in is easy, casino is nearby, cottages are clean, close to plenty of dining and shopping. Just note to self next time to bring an iron if you are one to iron your clothes. I guess RV goers may bring their own, makes sense. I think this will be a go to place if we don’t want the hotels stays. Maybe next time…we can actually bring our camper.”

“The Wellington Cottage has so much to offer, with the number of beds, and bathrooms, and the casita. And it’s so fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms! And then there’s the outdoor area with the lake view and amenities. Wonderful! Hotels.com (Expedia) caused issues with securing the property but the property owner (Aaron) was easy to work with and get the issue resolved.”

“Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.”

“Cabin is fantastic, we saw deer every day and cows all over Host was awesome and getting to feed the Highland cows was unforgettable With limited internet and cell service it was a great few days to unplug.”

“The cabin was great! It was perfect for our Hill Country getaway. Very close to Pedernales State Park which made it even better. Great place to enjoy some time away from the big city.”
