"Great place to stay INSIDE the castle walls. Easy walk to everything worth seeing or doing plus food & drinks. Hotel staff was pleasant, professional & VERY helpful—made dinner resv for us at Nova Casa de Ramiro, a place that’s hard to get! They also found washcloths for us when asked (not normally in European baths). We stayed in the “Queen Isabel” suite—a nice treat up high & private. *ONE NOTE—plan ahead on your luggage. It’s a long tricky walk from the mandatory outside parking areas! But...

"The staff was very professional and kind,The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was four stars. I love the story in how the hotel became to be to support the missionarys in the seminarian bldg near by in the pass. The free parking is a plus bonus.I will go back any time."

"The historic property is unique and lovely. Only problem was the lack of air conditioning in our room. We picked the place in part for its AC which is what the Hotels.com profile showed. It was a hot day when we arrived so we were disappointed to find no AC. Plus there are no screens on the Windows and biting mosquitos so we had to close the windows, making for an uncomfortable stay. Had we known there was no AC we would have stayed elsewhere."
