There was a ROACH in my room. When we talked to the front desk to get a new room, the new room is a major downgrade. The original room was a suite with a Double and a King bed. It was spacious and had a vanity that lights up, and 2 TVs. Neither TV worked, but until the roach, we were okay. Now, this new room looks less clean, has two doubles, and is cramped, minimal walking space. The TV in this room is ALSO not working. They did offer to separate one member of our group of 3 girls to a different room for the King bed. I am SO not happy with this experience. I want a refund.

The outside patio area is gorgeous and they are remodeling rooms. Seems like they are on the track to being a 5star location.

It was cheap and the bed was comfortable. The shower and sink were also nice and seemed to be updated. The doors, both bathroom and main, had issues closing which was slightly annoying. Breakfast was very limited and the food was stale. Staff was very friendly. Good experience for the cheap price overall. Met expectations.

The staff was wonderful- very helpful and courteous! Other reviews mentioned that the property was being renovated, our rooms clearly hadn’t been. Dated and possibly dirty bathroom, very little area to get ready, could only see tv from one bed, seating consisted of an overused rolling office chair, beds made sound like cookie sheet warping in oven when you moved, paint may have been applied by a child or perhaps an adult in a large hurry, no coffeemaker in room. Plus side is we were well located for our events on UIUC campus!

Our beds were fairly comfortable and the room was quiet. The place looked clean but didn’t feel very clean. The rooms and property in general felt in need of some maintenance and a thorough cleaning.

A very basic hotel that needs updating

While the workers are very earnest, this is a very basic hotel that is in need of updates. The sheets and blankets had stains and cigarette burns and the room was dirty in the corners etc. the bed was made neatly but the blanket was very thin. The pillows were nice and there was a brand new refrigerator. The front desk workers were very courteous and prompt.
