"We had the presidential room and definitely a wow on arrival but there were a few issues. Maintenance going on at the property that wasn’t mentioned at booking and it made the pool unusable as well as the elevator and common areas not attractive. It also meant construction noise from morning to evening. Specific to our room the bath was not useable due to no plug and we didn’t sleep so much due to a banging tin roof right above the bed. We did advise the staff but they weren’t bothered."

"Construction noise marred our stay. Electric jack hammering sounds on a Sunday from 7am, until after 7Pm. When I complained, the senior manager insisted there had NOT been hammering activity in their construction. Simply refused to belive me. Arrogant and rude. And the next morning, at checkout, the plaster removal hammering was happening in the front entrance."

"I was mislead. I knew my room wasn't in the main hotel building, but it was supposed to be right across the street (where there was another nice building) Instead, I had to walk past two buildings, through a little parking lot, and down a muddy alley to get to my building. I think I paid extra for a balcony, but the view was just of the alley. The door was really hard to open. Twice I had to get staff to open it for me. Once, returning hot and tired, there was no staff and it took me 20 min to get into my room. Room was nice though, and the bed was comfortable. Very nice towels, but tiny sink. The first night the fridge leaked water all over the floor and soaked my shoes. Fortunately, the sun on the balcony dried them out by day two. Staff was very nice, restaurant was good and very reasonable. They don't serve alcohol though. Pool was big and clean, but closed at 7pm. The beach is full of boats and locals playing football - fun to watch, but not a place to sunbathe. Overall a good stay though."

"Amazing staff who looked after us so attentively throughout with amazing and friendly service which made the holiday. The property is immaculate on a beautiful beach setting. Very quiet and perfect for a relaxing break. Food was varied and kept interesting. Fantastic breakfasts in particular though meat and fish dishes were a bit disappointing - generally very tough and left us feeling guilty at having to leave food that could’ve been improved. But overall a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to return"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided information about resources available. Loved the old town feel. It reminds me of a Moroccan riad. Breakfast is good. The location is great. It’s close to the ferry. It has a nice rooftop to watch the sunset. It’s close to the airport."
