“This is a lovely Spa hotel. It's in easy walking distance of the town centre and also runs a free shuttle bus. There is a steep climb from the road to the hotel entrance to be aware of but the rest of the walk is flat. There is a bus stop at the entrance of the hotel if you do not have a car. There is a good breakfast buffet selection and the time we ate in the Terrace restaurant the food was very good and the service excellent. There is an underground carpark and we had no problems parking...
“Nice entrance foyer and bedrooms were clean and spacious. Dark furniture in the room gave it a dated look but no real gripes. We had French doors leading out onto a veranda which was nice and the shower and bathroom were immaculate.
Easy walking distance to Liberation Square and the harbours.

Unfortunately the menu in the Terrace was not very good, we didn’t go into the Hugo or main dining room so we can’t judge the options there. The waiting staff had to wait on the Terrace and the dining rooms which on one evening just couldn’t cope. “The property was ideally located for exploring the island. The sea view rooms gave amazing views across the bay, albeit across one of the main roads to the east of the island. Each room has a fan. There is no air conditioning. The rooms face the afternoon sun so do get warm but can be ventilated as the window slides open. The rooms were spacious as was the bathroom and our request for an accessible room was accommodated.

“A lovely hotel in a super location. Glorious views across the bay from the main lounge & dining room. Lots of dining options in the town, all within walking distance. Staff were excellent & nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Food was excellent & beautifully presented. Would love to return & definitely recommend 😊”
