Cobo Bay Hotel

"The hotel is in a Great location with stunning views of the sea and sun set. The staff where great and the food was excellent. Some storage area was very hard to access, the bathroom needs a redesign, It was so badly laid out that when you sat on the toilet you had to be VERY careful not to burn yourself on the VERY hot towel rail, ( I did once) Towel rail was to close in front of you. The boxing around the back of the toilet need changing as this is to high and when you bend to wash your face in the sink you hit the tile edges with your right arm."

The Pandora Hotel

"The hotel is ideally situated up the hill from St Peter Port. The single room I had was clean and adequately equipped even if a little dated. The restaurant, bar and garden areas were more in keeping with the hotel and were clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was part buffet and part waiter service and I found there was a good choice of cooked breakfasts. I visited on the hottest days in June and the 3rd floor room was incredibly hot as there is no air-conditioning. There were no curtains on the single big window just vertical blinds which didn't keep out much light as they didn't close properly and rattled all through the night as I needed the windows fully open. On asking at reception, I did borrow a fan but it wasn't very effective at cooling down the room. Staff at the hotel were friendly, courteous and helpful. The gardens are delightful! I would definitely stay at this hotel again if returning to Guernsey."

"Very welcoming at reception. Extremely hot on arrival water provided at reception. Lift available to room. No A/C but fan in room. Room at front able to sleep with balcony door open, as although on road overlooking sea, minimal noise at night. Beach access across road. Good sized bathroom with walk in shower toiletries provided Kettle in room sundries restocked daily No room or hotel safe no bed side sockets Small hotel pool with a few loungers available will supply a towel at reception Nice large restaurant, we were on B&B basis. Really lovely servers small buffet cereal etc with cooked items to order. Really quick service. We had evening meals there, last minute decision. They have a 4 course menu for £28. But we opted for just the main and were charged accordingly. Food lovely and fresh and really enjoyed. There is an à la carte menu but you have to order that earlier in day Overall a lovely hotel and would certainly recommend to others. It is a 15 minute bus ride into St Helier but the bust stop is just outside and the buses are frequent. Would suit mature people not youngsters wanting a lively stay"

Le Friquet Country Hotel

"Lovely hotel, set back from the main road with beautiful gardens, pool with beds and umbrellas just arrived the week we arrived as was the delightful weather. Staff very friendly and polite. Room kept clean. Wish they had a fridge on room, but otherwise a great gem. Food is restaurant was excellent too. Not too far into St Peter port and other places, are never too far away. Garden centre worth a visit for a coffee or some lunch. La baguette over the road too. I would come back here if I visit Guernsey again."

"My wife and I spent five nights at the Westhill Country Hotel on a bed and breakfast break and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is clearly well cared for, with a warm, welcoming team who were always present without ever feeling intrusive. Every amenity—from the dining areas to the leisure spaces—was spotless and well maintained. It made for a relaxing, enjoyable stay that felt both personal and professional."

The Duke Hotel

"Friendly and helpful staff - complimenrary drink on arrival as oyr room wasnt ready. Batteries refreshed in room heating/cooling fan remote handset when requested. Delicious breakfast but we found dining in the conservatory quite cramped and invasive. Our room was a quirky shape, the TV was tiny. Bathroom was ckean and modern except for the ill fitting shower head and very narrow bath. Lovely outside patio area."
