"Hotel was okay, area was a little sketch. Beds were tiny! Was asked if we wanted one bed or two, stated one, got put in a 2 bed that had the smallest beds! Fridge had a dent in it from a fist, so that was nice lol. Front desk clerk was super nice and helpful!"

"This was an outstanding hotel in every way: clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, incredibly comfortable beds and bedding, friendly helpful staff. We so appreciated the great landing spot offered to us at this Best Western."
The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"Place was perfect for us and not busy which was awesome! Water slides were great, only negative thing I can say is the zip line at the playground was broke."
"This is definitely a basic hotel. Very old and grungy. Thankfully we only slept here and there it. Breakfast was free, but could use some protein. Waffle maker, sliced bread, yogurt and cereal only. Room was dark and dirty. Very in need of an update. Staff was good. Hotel had constant marijuana smell and was run down. Nice location and glad the price wasn’t more than $75 a night."
"The King room I stayed in had been partially updated and was clean and comfortable. The mattress and bedding were comfortable and the room included a nice large tv and cable. The bathroom remodel was done poorly however and looked like someone slapped a plastic wall panel on top of the original tile shower wall and was held together cheaply with large amounts of caulk. The free breakfast looked good but I didn’t eat. The hallways of the hotel are dark, dingy and look very dated and off putting. There is also an hint of old smoke smell in the lobby, even though it is now a smoke free hotel. Overall, I thought the hotel was ok for the $135 I paid in June. The only other minor issue I had was I found a tick on the shower curtain (which is weird) and a good sized spider on the bathroom wall. There are nicer hotels in the area for a higher price, but if you are on a budget and want a basic hotel with mostly updated rooms in the Brainerd / Baxter area, this hotel is not a bad option."
"Friendly staff ,nice accommodations, great place for the kids to stay and play in the water park area. We wish water was available with breakfast but we had to purchase it at the gift shop... that was the only thing we would like changed about our stay! Everything else was great!"
"We were in town for a wedding and stayed the weekend on on of the suites. We had the best time. The rooms were clean, amenities were better than we eve expected. We will definitely be back."
"Honestly one of the worst places I have ever stayed. We showed up and over an hour past check in and there wasn’t a room ready. We had to switch from a single queen to a double full room because they didn’t know when a queen would be ready. The blankets were super old and not very comfortable at all. Beds weren’t comfortable at all, hardly any towels, no wash clothes and when we got an extra towel it had a huge hole in it. People were constantly smoking right outside the side door by our room so leaving always sucked, the door was broken so people had to leave a piece of paper to keep it from locking to get into the building. The room above ours had someone basically stomping around half the night. Nothing was outwardly dirty but stained.
At one point when I walked in but didn’t need help the person at the front desk basically said “oh good” when I said I didn’t need help. Like I would have been burdening her. It was just over all not a good experience at all.
If you are looking for just a bed to sleep on for a night for cheap it works but if you want to be comfortable and enjoy a stay I wouldn’t stay here."
