We had a dog with us and it was such a nice surprise to find a dog bed and dog bowls in our room and a private patio area. "We stayed at Michelle’s beautiful guest house for 4 nights in June and what a gem of a find it was! From the moment we booked to stay at 537 St.Emillion, communication was excellent and our welcome was really wonderful. Because there are only 3 rooms, it felt very private, peaceful and special. The swimming pool was lovely. The gardens and views of vineyards and beautiful neighbouring villas was to die for. Michelle went out of his way to ensure our continental breakfasts were fresh every day, which included an opportunity to try some delicious French pastries from local French pattiseries, freshly squeezed Portuguese orange juice , the softest and creamiest vanilla yogurt..scrumptious. Michelle pointed us in the right direction of some amazing resteraunts on vineyards chateaux’s, where once again the panaramas and sunsets were indeed very beautiful. Couldn’t have ended our wonderful tour of Bordeaux any better and with such a lovely, friendly, kind host! Merci Michelle."

The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit."
