Never before had I stayed at a hotel where I felt as comfortable in a familial environmentโthe room accommodations, the restaurant, and the drivers were all amazing! โAfter an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips....

The first room (with a bathtub) was spectacular and huge, with a balcony next to it. High-quality bathroom products. Really spacious and beautifully decorated. The second room, a few days later, was a bit smaller but just as high in quality.

โWe stayed in the hotel twice, with a brief trip to Safari in between (the hotel was happy to hold one bad in between which was much appreciated).
It's a very well located hotel, so close to some fantastic bars, coffee shops and restaurants (Rosetta Roastery, Nikkei & Clarkes particular local highlights for us). The rooftop bar and pool is a lovely spot to watch the sun go down.
