Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Bamahu could be as easy as pie or it could drag on forever. We've pulled together some handy travel tips that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, put in your passport, official ID, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a tablet filled with your favorite shows are always good options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a quality neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll hop off the plane feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and fireworks, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to feel as comfortable as possible. Pick slip-on footwear, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to take a sweater in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
