If you're not prepared, traveling can be tough. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a pain-free start to your vacation in Glenrock. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack your passport, travel documents, cash and medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy novel and a tablet filled with your favorite shows are always good options. If you hope to catch up on some sleep, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a few toiletry items so you'll touchdown looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your top priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to bring a sweater in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
