Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you're well organized. We've made a list of essential travel tips that will get your Kora vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, pack your passport, important documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling book and a phone filled with your favorite movies are good options. If you plan to take a quick snooze, a quality neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll touchdown looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart option, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Caused by sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your lower limbs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
